Noel had only just got home from checking on his beehives when Podge called him rather urgently to tell him that he was getting a really strong smell of lemons from where Noel had planted all his trees. So Noel hurried to investigate. He began digging, with Podge’s “assistance”. Lo, and behold, Noel found a load of lemons but no trees.
Spot is very hyperactive this evening. We made an early trip to the Penguin Community this morning and we called in at the sweet shop. There was an offer on Kendal Mint Cake, making it rather a bargain. Spot bought enough to create a small stockpile. However, he ate slightly more of it than I expected him to and he has been bouncing with energy ever since.
